The Company

In 2001, Interfazes was started by Anja Thrane and Berit Krickhahn under the name Userminds. In 2011 we changed our name to Interfazes to highlight that we have expanded our areas of competence to also include prototyping, design and web analysis.

Interfazes is an independent consultancy specializing in usability, information architecture, design and web analysis. We are the market leader in Denmark and are also member of the leading global network of usability firms, International Usability Partners.

Our UX Specialists participate in the debate to promote user-friendly solutions, through both articles and participation in jury work for E-commerce Prize and The Top of the Web award (Bedst på Nettet).

We also work closely with leading educational institutions in Denmark:

• We have participated in research projects with the Department of Informatics, Copenhagen Business School in China and India
• We have a highly trained expert within web analysis from Copenhagen University, who researches Web analytics as a sociological discipline
• Our UX Specialists are part of the examiner corps at CBS, and we hold lectures at CBS, KEA and receive students on company visits

Interfazes are members of professional organizations like IUP, FDIH, User Experience Group Denmark and DI.

Test facilities

Our test facilities form the optimal surroundings for everything from one to one interviews to focus groups and workshops with up to 16 participants. The facilities are equipped with one-way mirrors so you can observe the investigation and give you a firsthand impression without disturbing.

• Focus group / workshop facility. Capacity: 12-16 participants
• Focus group observation room. Capacity: 8-12 observers
• Usability lab. Equipped for one-on-one think-aloud sessions and interviews
• Usability observation room. Capacity: 10-14 observers

Exciting projects and an inspiring workplace

Interfazes work with many different types of projects, and we typically solve tasks in teams to get a professional collaboration, which we believe provides the best solution for our customers.

To a large extent the individual consultant will organize their duties in relation to specific projects. This allows for a flexible working day.
